i am having a ton of problem with my scope as well. I am wondering if your having the same problems as me. Can you get your voltage on the x- axis or either to separate your wave forms when using the 4 channels?

Software is just bad. No voltage scale on y axis, no scroll bar for x axis to see previous patterns and other things that are greyed out.

I was told by support that an upgraded software is no where around the corner, So i guess we're screwed. i am thinking abt the picoscope 2200. Such a dam shame on Autel's engineering

Why is it so hard to make something good?

The scope itself really looks to be something really close to the Hantek scope. Not that it is a bad thing in it self, I have the 3064 and it works ok, but  it is technology of years ago and so is the software. For ages there was hope Hantek would get some better software for this scope but in the end it seemed like Autel would adopt the hardware and make some powerfull software that would have it working great with the MaxiSys (as a flexible garage tool) or with a labtop for more saving and easy uploading/editing/diagnosing, etc.

For now, I am not half as sure that I want this as I was before. Software is not as powerfull and flexible as it was presented (if I understand reactions from users correctly). Already my mind was also on Pico for a second scope and even though I woul still buy into MP408 if the sofware and hardware would give me good reason, right now it is Pico where the money goes. Sad, since I would love to expand on the use of my MaxiSys (although that has to get up to it's feet again for the basic diagnostic functions first now).

Basically I have found that the maxiscope is decent on a  laptop or pc but kinda defeating the maxiscope integration with the maxisys huh? I have to say that autel dropped the ball on the maxiscope software! It just plain SUCKS!

Does anyone know if the scope works with other software, like pico's?

thats a good question. i think it probably works with some Hantek software. I have a few tried different software with my hantek and it didnt work.
